A Good Faith Estimate (GFE) is a document that outlines the expected costs of therapy services for clients who are uninsured or choosing not to use insurance. It is required by the No Surprises Act to help clients understand and plan for the cost of their care. The estimate includes fees for sessions and any potential additional costs, ensuring transparency in billing. While the actual costs may vary, the GFE provides a clear expectation of financial responsibility, empowering clients to make informed decisions about their mental health care.
